After heavy rain, it’s a good idea to check in with your pool’s water chemistry. Make sure that pH and chlorine levels are where they need to be; if not, raise these levels accordingly. Covering your pool before heavy rain can help reduce the risk of water chemistry being negatively affected.
How Sunshine Can Interfere With Pool Maintenance
We tend to think of sunshine as a good thing. However, this is (surprisingly) not always the case. For example, on hot, sunny days, it’s more likely that pool water will evaporate.
